What a day! On Tuesday 8th March we celebrated Harry and Kit International Women's Day in our small town of Goondiwindi and what a big inspirational day it was. We hosted 170+ women for a long lunch on the Macintyre River at Macintyre Boathouse to celebrate all the amazing women and their achievements. The day showed us anything is possible, no matter your gender.
I can't thank everyone enough who attended and of course a very big thank you to our inspiring guest speakers; April Cavanagh from Suncorp Bank, Grace Brennan from Buy From The Bush, Victoria Carey from Graziher Magazine and the days wonderful host Sammie O'Brien from Channel 7.
Listening and learning from all of these women was very inspiring and has my mind going mental on new ideas and boosting my confidence for what the future will bring for not only my small business but all women's businesses.
I also have to give a big thanks to all the small businesses who contributed to making the day so perfect. Without their help and collaborations the day wouldn't have been the same. You can read about each of these small women lead or women involved businesses below!
