Vintage Shanxi Ear Pot | Unglazed
Sourced from Shanxi, these terracotta pots are around 120 years old and are named for the small lug handles, or ears, on each side. They were used to store grain, water and food.
The dark, smoky clay has a soft matte finish and natural wear. Use one as a planter, a vase or a sculptural piece on a shelf or floor. Sizes vary, so they look great grouped together.
