Traditional Glazed Stoneware Storage Vessel

Rich in history and beautifully utilitarian, these Vintage Indian Pickle Jars were once used to store homemade pickles, preserves and pantry staples in traditional Indian kitchens.

Crafted from solid stoneware and finished with a warm caramel glaze over natural clay, each jar carries subtle variations in tone, speckling and form. A reflection of its handmade origins and years of use. The glazed upper band was designed to seal and protect contents, while the unglazed lower body allowed the vessel to breathe, keeping stored goods cool in warmer climates.

Today, these jars bring depth and character into the home.
