For a long time, I have dreamt of holding an event to bring women together from all walks of life, over lunch. To celebrate women's achievements and learn from each other. To socialise and embrace the uniqueness that each and every one of us bring to our families, businesses and local communities. And what better time to celebrate women than on the day that's allocated specifically for us; International Women's Day.
International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme, #breakthebias, encourages women to not only celebrate, but campaign for equality and call out gender bias.
Harry and Kit invite you to celebrate the achievements of women this March for International Women's Day 2022 in Goondiwindi, Queensland.
Join us for a long lunch, with a lineup of talented female speakers, including the awe inspiring Grace Brennan, founder of the hugely successful Buy From The Bush movement and now business in it's own right. Victoria Carey, Editor of Graziher Magazine -
the magazine about rural women written for rural women, and April Cavanagh, Head of Agribusiness at Suncorp Bank and a huge advocate and supporter of women in business.
We will have the pleasure of listening and learning from all three women during a Q and A session run by Sammie O'Brien, Channel Seven Journalist and Lifestyle TV Presenter who will be interviewing these brilliant women.
Guests will enjoy delicious food and drinks from the Macintyre Boat House, Goondiwindi's newest fine dining venue, and take home a beautiful gift box filled with products and produce from throughout the region (valued at $99).
